The Dubai Convention Bureau (DCB) will host a recognition breakfast for their congress ambassadors that will take place in Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai on 28th of May 2012. The Dubai Convention Bureau works with government, non government agencies and individuals on a continual basis to bring international events to the city.
This breakfast is to award organizations that have supported congresses that were hosted in Dubai in 2011.
At first, a presentation will be presented by DCB to explain the various changes in the number of congresses hosted in Dubai and the economic impact on the city. Then, there will be a keynote speech by Mr. Abdulla Bin Souqat – Executive Director – Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Award for Medical Sciences, about the importance of hosting international congresses in Dubai.
In addition, future confirmed congresses will also be presented to the ambassadors to recognize what Dubai will be hosting in order to get their support for the future.
With over 34,000 delegates in Dubai in 2011 alone as a result of association congresses, DCB values the continued support of the Congress Ambassadors’ members to position Dubai as the leading conference destination in the world.
