Famous speaker and Islamic propagator Shaykh Tauseef UrRahmaan drove his point in a powerful lecture on the topic “Who is Allah”. Muslims and non-Muslims were reminded and urged to reflect on the existence of the vast creation and turn to the One who created everything for every problem. Shaykh Tauseef urRahman spoke to thousands of audiences, males and females, gathered at the giant Ramadan Forum tent at Al Twar area in Dubai on Tuesday night about the attributes of God Almighty, who in Arabic is known as Allah, and to open their hearts and minds to the reality that He is the Creator, Sustainer and giver of life and death and to Him everyone will return. He spoke exclusively on some of Allah’s names and attributes, like He is the Only God, The Everliving, The Lord and Owner of everything and The Creator while delivering a lecture on “Who is Allah” organised by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) as part of the 11th Ramadan Forum. The annual event held under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, Dubai, started on July 24, 2012 and will run till August 4 2012, under the theme “A Breeze of Mercy.” Addressing the people he said to stick to the only principle all Prophets and Messengers were sent for including the final Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him and all of them), Laa ilaha illAllah, that there is no god worthy of worship except the One God Almighty (Allah), which he said was the solution to all problems. He reminded that this statement (Laa ilaha illAllah) implicates that only Allah should be called out to or supplicated to in matters that are small or big, and reminded people that He is the One who blesses parents with girls as well as boys. He stressed that when people raise their hands for du’a or supplication and prayers they point toward the heavens by the innate nature of humans. So Allah alone should be sought for help and remembered in every easy or difficult situation. He concluded the lecture by calling upon Muslims and non-Muslims during this blessed month of Ramadan to concentrate on the oneness of God Almighty and to ask Him to purify them and guide them to the right path, the path of the Prophets and Messengers, like Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them). People can benefit from his lectures in Urdu from his website, www.syedtaseef.com. The DTCM has scheduled three more lectures in foreign languages during the 11th Ramadan Forum.
